BPM 2016

BPM 2016 adalah sebuah event tahunan yang cukup menarik bagi para penggiat manajemen proses bisnis dan berbagai bidang pengembangannya. Setiap tahun kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di berbagai lokasi menarik di dunia (menurut saya :D). Dan tahun ini, di Rio!

Berikut ini deskripsi singkat dari website BPM 2016:

BPM 2016 is the 14th conference in a series that provides the most prestigious forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of Business Process Management.

Over the past decade, the conference has built its reputation by showcasing leading-edge research of the highest quality together with talks, tutorials and discussions by the most renown thought leaders and innovators in the field. The BPM conference series embraces the diversity and richness of the BPM field and serves as a melting pot for experts from a mix of disciplines including Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Services Science and Technology Management.

BPM 2016, hosted by the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), will take place in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil.

Salah satu program yang seru dari BPM adalah Business Process Intelligence (BPI) Challenge yang kali ini mengangkat kasus dari sebuah perusahaan asuransi Belanda (UWV). Peserta memperoleh penjelasan singkat tentang studi kasus tersebut, dataset berupa real event logs, lalu sejumlah pertanyaan yang bisa dijawab dengan menganalisis dataset yang diberikan. Pengen banget ikut sih, tapi sayang baru beberapa hari lalu menemukan website ini dan submission deadline-nya 2 Juli. Duh!
